Professional Packaging Cell
Build PLC logic, HMI/SCADA screens, machine processes, diagnostics and verification locally in your browser. Export a portable .autoproj project whenever you want.
PLC stopped\n0 cycles\nNo faults
LD, ST, FBD, SFC, timers, counters, edge detection, tasks, memory and online diagnostics.
Run deterministic conveyors, motors, cylinders, tanks, sensors, faults and HMI logic before hardware exists.
Repeatable test cases, trace, watch/force, alarms and fault injection with local project reports.
Project History & Recovery
Named snapshots are stored on this device in IndexedDB—not on the server. Export a .autoproj backup to protect against device failure and cleared browser data.
Up to 25 revisions per project, 2 MB per revision. This is independent of short-term Undo/Redo.
Select Compare on a revision to see changed engineering sections.
Restoring a revision replaces the currently open project. Export a backup first.
PLC Diagnostics & Cross References
Advisory symbol references across Ladder, Structured Text, FBD, SFC, wiring, HMI and tests. This is not an IEC-certified compiler.
Selected symbol uses
Persistent Local Historian
Browser IndexedDB recording for the current project, capped at 10,000 samples. Independent of the server-side, one-shot SQLite/Arrow/Parquet export tools.
No samples loaded.
Sampling uses the project Historian configuration. Buffered writes persist during simulation; clearing browser storage also removes samples. Export regularly for durable archives.
Select a recorded sample.
Ladder Diagram
IEC-style cyclic logic with contacts, parallel branches, coils, SET/RESET and diagnostic power flow.
Structured Text
IEC-oriented editor with assignments, IF/ELSIF/ELSE, arithmetic, boolean logic and standard FB call patterns.
Function Block Diagram
Graphical blocks for boolean, arithmetic, compare, timer, counter, edge and selection logic.
Sequence / SFC
Steps, actions and transitions for sequence-oriented machines.
HMI / SCADA Designer
Runtime-bound widgets, alarms, trends, numeric values and drag/drop layout.
Machine Simulation
Deterministic process model for conveyor, motor, cylinder and tank systems with fault injection.
Hardware & I/O
Vendor-neutral controller rack, tag table, network configuration and live values.
| Name | Address | Type | Initial | Live | Force | Actions |
|---|
Wiring & Virtual Commissioning
Connect simulated field devices to PLC I/O, inject open/stuck faults, and verify PLC → plant → HMI/alarms end-to-end. Simulation only; not a safety-certified electrical design tool.
Connections are project data. Faults affect only the current local simulation and reset on cold restart.
| Device / terminal | Signal | PLC I/O | Live | Simulated fault |
|---|
Alarms & Events
Configurable alarm conditions, acknowledgement state and local project history.
Trends & Trace
Live local traces with no project data uploaded to the server.
| Time | Cycle | Tag value | Motor | Alarm |
|---|
Verification & Test Bench
Deterministic unit/integration tests with snapshots, expected values and fault scenarios.
Custom Commissioning Scenarios
Define repeatable PLC + wiring fault checks for your own machine. Each scenario runs in a separate simulated runtime and never commands actual hardware.
Create a scenario, set given/expected tags, then run tests.
Recipes & Parameters
Local machine recipes stored inside the project file. Apply a recipe to simulation parameters and tags.
Diagnostics
Cycle time, scan watchdog, forced values, faults, runtime errors and protocol bridge state.
Shared Component Library
Projects stay on this PC. Engineers can install or export their own JSON components without an account. Publishing to the server-wide shared catalog requires a separate administrator token.
Advanced Engineering
Local multi-controller topology, motion, drives, safety, historian, deployment, security, vendor adapters and performance engineering.
Ready.
Local project hash not verified.
No benchmark run.
Open I/O Exchange & Dependency Notices
Move your PLC tag table between tools using portable CSV and JSON. Data-only interoperability: this does not connect to proprietary PLC firmware.
Header: Name,Address,Type,Initial,Description. Adds new tags only; existing tags and programs are never overwritten. Imports are validated against your project before applying.
The exported manifest records signal names, IEC types, local I/Q/M addresses, field wiring links and simulation limitations. It does not invent Modbus register addresses or claim PLCopen conformance.
| Integration | Status | Limits |

Direct dependency reference only—not a complete automatically generated SBOM, legal opinion, certification, or inventory of every transitive package installed in your environment.

Project Settings
Local file management, project schema, vendor profile, storage policy and documentation.
✓ No login or user table
✓ No server project endpoint
✓ No server user/project database (SQLite exports are transient)
✓ Browser draft is local to this device
✓ Explicit .autoproj export to your PC
✓ Components use a separate filesystem registry
AI & Data Settings
Connect your own hosted AI provider or an AI running on your PC. No account, shared key store or automatic code execution. Choose a provider and discover models, or connect Ollama running on your own PC.
Model lists depend on the chosen provider and your API permissions. You can always type a model name manually.
Non-secret connection preferences are stored only in this browser.
How to connect Ollama or another local AI
Install Ollama on your own computer, pull a model with ollama pull llama3.2, then start the Ollama application (or run ollama serve). Select Ollama — my computer, click Discover models, and choose the model.
Typical endpoint: http://127.0.0.1:11434/api/chat. The browser must be allowed to access the local service from this website's origin; configure Ollama's OLLAMA_ORIGINS for your trusted application origin if your browser reports a CORS error. Never expose a local model service to the public internet.
LM Studio and llama.cpp can use local OpenAI-compatible chat endpoints. Each engineer connects to their own PC, even if Automation Studio is served from a shared LAN server.
Choose a provider, model and endpoint to start.
AI suggestions will appear here. The assistant never edits or runs your PLC automatically.
Historian CSV, optional Apache Arrow / Parquet, and SQLite snapshots are downloaded to your computer. The shared server only converts bounded requests temporarily in memory; it does not store history, user accounts or projects.
